About Us
At Hummingwood, we are breeding for exceptional huacaya alpacas. We are committed to their care and well-being.

Alpaca Fiber
Alpacas produce one of the warmest and most luxurious fibers.  It contains no lanolin, is soft as cashmere and warmer, stronger, and lighter than wool.  Alpaca fiber is clipped from the animal without causing injury.  There are about 22 natural colors and blends and the fiber can be dyed.
